The society is comprised of many such people who magnanimously work for the society day and night and who take hold view of the village as a family. It is a tradition of Yashwant Samajik Pratishtan and Jagdamba Devi Temple Trust to confer Sonai Ratna Award on such hard workers and honest villagers by considering their spiritual, social, and academic works. The first recipient of the award was Mr. Mehboob Sayyaid. In the last 30/31 years, the brakeless recitation for a week the name of Hari; the God, known as Akhand Harinam Saptah, has been continued since 1984. The Sonai Ratna Award has been conferred on many such activists such as Saraswati Sabre for her work in health services, Late Kankarao Gadakh Guruji for his work in education, Shri. Champalal Changedia for his work in trade growth, Late Macchindradada Yelwande for his religious work, Vishwanath Dhale for his social work, The Sonai Ratna Award is conferred by the law of ‘Sarv Dharm Sam Bhav’; equality of all religions. The criteria of honesty, conduct and works are applied transparently for the selection.
