Splendor of any town is enhanced by its river that flows by. The Kautiki river is very closely associated with the lives of Sonaietes and it preserves the typical ambience of the village. The breadth of the river, the murmuring water and the traders on its bank were the glimpses of the river. Yashwant Samajik Pratishtan made endeavors to restore the six decades old glory of the river. The efforts were made for beautification with plantation at the hands of 11 women, 11 youths and senior citizens. Freshening ambience was sought by renovating archaic well, small well, cleaning of the breadth of the river and implanting benches. Consequently, children play on the side by grounds in the midst of twittering of the birds in the trees.
